Meet Kevin!

Kevin Maher is our owner and operator here at Titans Painting. If you have had the pleasure of meeting Kevin, you know that he is extremely passionate about Titans Painting and always puts his customers and employees first! He is always eager to help homeowners and has a passion for upgrading homes. Outside of the business, Kevin also has many passions and hobbies. Now, let’s get to know Kevin!

How did you start Titans Painting?

I was interested in the painting business in 2009 where I began mapping out my business plan for Titans Painting. My wife - Allyson, who is a teacher in the Blue Valley School District, placed an ad with the district and I painted my very first home in May of 2010. That’s how I built a foundation with the Johnson County Community!    

What was your ultimate goal when you started Titans Painting?

To help homeowners achieve their goals! It’s a very rewarding job, especially when I see my customers happy and excited about their upgraded home.

What is your favorite part about the painting process?

My favorite part is including the customers in the entire process. I like to show them how we prep, prime, and paint their home. They are always so pleased so see the process and this allows them to see the complete transformation. I enjoy making it a collaborative experience for my customers!

What is your passion outside the business?

Definitely my family! I am married to my beautiful wife, Allyson and we will be celebrating 36 years of marriage in August. We have 3 daughters – Hannah, Molly and Caroline! I also have 2 amazing grandchildren, Teagan and Aidan and 1 on the way this summer!

What is your favorite activity to do in Kansas City?

I love exploring new restaurants and cocktail bars with friends and family. My wife and I also ballroom dance every week and we very much enjoy it!

Favorite local restaurants / spots in Kansas City?

My favorite spots are – J Alexanders, Princess Gardens, and Stock Hill!
